"I've always believed that Father's Day is not just a date on the calendar. It's the idea of spending time with your children now, whatever the date might be. With busy schedules and so many activities, it becomes harder to find the special time we need with our families. we need to make the time because when those chances are gone, they are truly gone. In fact, I chose to show no buildings and no other people in this painting -- it's just them walking along the ocean. this is their time together without distraction ... a father's day with the kids"
